The Personal Cloaking Device (or PCD), still in beta testing, is a small device that, when placed on an individual and turned on, renders the person invisible. Not only is the user not visible to the eye, they also disappear from normal scanning systems. People wearing PCDs that are tuned to he same frequencies are able to see each other. This new technology was acquired at the same time as the Interphasic Flechette Torpedos, Monocular Phaser Device and the Ablative Deployable Armor.
The Monocular Phaser device works in tandem with the PCD in that it allows the user to see other registered teammates who are cloaked.
